Eco-friendly products are the way to go, as they have little or no impact on the environment. Below are a list of these alternatives, so hopefully you can contribute too!
Firstly, cling-wrap is extremely bad for the environment. Seabirds can mistake wraps for food, and can choke on it. Instead of plastic wraps, use biodegradable or beeswax wraps! Beeswax wraps can be reused, and you can even put biodegradable ones it the compost bin!
Plastic bags are a real problem. Turtles can mistake them for jellyfish, their favourite food, and can be paralysed for life or even die. Rather than plastic bags, use paper bags or cloth ones. If you have to use plastic ones, make sure you reuse it until it breaks.
Choose electric vehicles: they emit a lot less carbon dioxide and greenhouse gases than vehicles that run on petrol. If you’re worried about the charging time, choose Teslas or cars that charge super fast(#NotSponsored)
E-Books and audiobooks are so much more sustainable than normal books. Not only do they prevent silverfish and other pests from bugging your bookshelves, they don’t require precious paper. Plus, most e-books and audiobooks are also more cheap than normal hardcopy books, and some services offer unlimited books online for only fifteen dollars a month!
Hopefully, this helped you become a little bit more eco-friendly!
As always, spread the word!
