Most households have a rubbish bin, but not a lot of households have a compost bin and a recycling one. Not only is composting and recycling so much better for the environment, it has other benefits too!
Obviously, composting and recycling is extremely beneficial to the environment. It saves trees from being cut down and also stops foods from rotting and releasing harmful methane gases into the atmosphere. There’s other benefits too, for example, composting with worms can actually make natural homemade fertiliser!
Another benefit of composting and recycling is that it stops your bins from overflowing. If you can’t be bothered to take out the garbage again and again(like me), having three seperate bins decreases the amount of times you have to take the garbage out. Sure, you might have to carry three bins, but it saves a lot of time!
Finally, by composting and recycling, you could save an innocent life like a marine animal. These animals mistake rubbish for food and could choke on a glass bottle etc. You also create more jobs by increasing the demand for recycling centres!
As always, spread the word!
